St. Michael Housing Market Update for First Week of March

Supply continues to lag in St. Michael as the housing market ticks upward. Average home prices are now well above their low in 2009.

For the week of February 28 - March 7th, there were 256 homes listed on the market in the St. Michael, Albertville, Rogers, and Otsego areas.  75 of those homes are listed as "distressed", meaning that they are either in foreclosure, bank owned, or potential short sales.  The remaining homes are either traditional sales or their distressed status has not been disclosed.

Of 248 homes on the market, 34 went pending with an average list price of $165,983.  The highest listed pending homes were $259,900 (Rogers) and $250,000 (St. Michael) while the lowest was $57,900 (St. Michael). 

For the Twin Cities Market, the average Cumulative Days on Market (CDOM) is 107 with an average of 23 showings.
