Storm Scrubs St. Michael-Albertville Basketball Game, Rinks Are Closed

Another shot of wintry weather is dumping snow on the area and forcing cancellations tonight.

Are you tired of winter yet?

If not, this weather is perfect for you. Another system is dropping 6 to 8 inches of new snow on St. Michael-Albertville, a little more than a week after 12 to 14 inches fell in this area on Dec. 11.

The weather has forced a few cancellations already, including the St. Michael-Albertville girls' basketball games vs. St. Francis, which was set to tip at 7:15 p.m. tonight in St. Francis.

The ninth grade wrestling match vs. Princeton has also been postponed, with a makeup date to come later.

The City of St. Michael has also closed skating rinks at the Rec Center, as well as neighborhood rinks. The snow has made the ice tough to navigate.
