Upcoming Events at the St. Michael Library

There are two free family events coming up at the library.

On Tuesday, July 24, The Z Puppets Rosenschnoz are bringing their Gnip Gnop Circus to the library. This is the world's only glow-in-the-dark ping pong ball blacklight puppet extravaganza. Starts at 4:30 until 5:15 p.m. It promises a Monty Pythonesque entertainment experience suitable for ages 2 and up.

Z Puppets Rosenschnoz is a group of professional performers, musicians and creative writers who have received commissions from the Minnesota History Center, Minnesota Children’s Museum, Science Museum of Minnesota, Walker Art Center, and others. This program is funded in part with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.

The following week on Wednesday, August 1, Rusty's Rockin' Jamboree will be at the library. Popular children’s singer/songwriter Rusty will bring his Rockin’ Jamboree for family audiences from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m. Rocky’s kid-friendly show mixes upbeat familiar tunes with Rusty’s own comic original songs and off-beat fun. This program is funded in part with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
