Weekend Holiday Happenings: Children's Shopping, Santa and Boutiques

Several holiday events will take place Saturday in the St. Michael -Albertville area.

 

Plans for a few holiday events are set for this weekend. Saturday marks the first day of December, and in St. Michael, the day offers several opportunities for local holiday shopping.

A couple chances to meet Santa will also take place Saturday.

Holiday events in St. Michael-Albertville, Saturday, Dec. 1:

Children's Holiday Shopping Mall, 9 a.m.

Children up to grade five can shop for gifts for family and friends. Bring your child to St. Michael-Albertville Middle School West with a budget and cash in a ziplock bag, and they can shop for holiday gifts — all sale items are $5 or less. Gifts will be wrapped.

9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The St. Michael Fire Department Explorers are bringing Santa to the fire station. Santa will be available for photos and the Explorers are also collecting toy donations for Caring for Kids.

St. Michael Catholic School Holiday Boutique, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

This year’s event will feature over 40 vendors, and Santa and Mrs. Claus will be available for pictures from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Bring your camera.  Lunch will also be available.

Holiday Boutique, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Shop the Holiday Boutique at the Colonial Mall and help support Alleluia's Haiti Mission Team, for Alleluia Lutheran Church.
