Where Will You Find Your Inspiration?

As a single working mom of two small boys, life is more than a little hurried most of the time. Often it feels as though life is happening to me, instead of being an active participant. 

After living and working in the St. Michael-Albertville community for 10 years, a longtime friend and associate recently proposed a new venture and the opportunity to start my own travel consulting business.

After 12 years in the industry, it has been a dream come true. Although I am confident that I have the skills and experience necessary to sell vacations, running a business is a completely new undertaking. Looking to my friends and family for guidance and advice, I eventually found my inspiration to take the necessary leap of faith.

Keeping that faith is a little more difficult, especially when it is so easy to get lost in my work. Although I’ve always felt that true success should be measured by how greatly we have loved, rather than how large our estate is; even I realize that love won't pay the bills. 

So here begins my journey: juggling children, business, physical health, and spiritual wellness; searching for inspiration along the way, and sharing it with others.
