Annual Children's Holiday Shopping Mall

December 6, 2014 9 am to 1pm Middle School West

The holiday commercials have started and I'm sure you have heard from the mouths of your babe's, "I want that!" The Children's Holiday Shopping Mall is a great way to get your children into the holiday spirit by taking the focus away from what "they" want and directing their energy to how they can give to others.

This event, hosted by the Crow River Girl Scouts, provides inexpensive gift items for children to purchase for their family and friends so they can be part of the joy of giving.  All sale items are $5 or less and will be wrapped and tagged, ready to place under the Christmas tree when they get home.

Children who are walking age through 5th grade should bring a shopping
list which clearly spells the names of the people to shop for and an estimate
of how much to spend on each person.  Girl Scouts will help the younger children who want or need help shopping.

Parents ARE NOT allowed in the shopping mall with their children. Adults can
grab a coffee or cocoa and browse the "Sweet Shop" while they wait. The last hour of the mall (noon until 1:00pm) adults are allowed to go in and shop. Healthsource will have complimentary chair massages while you wait, sign up when you arrive for a t

Every year children lose their money, so while waiting for your "little shopper's" number to be called, make sure your name and phone number are written on the money bag/envelope.
