St. Michael, Albertville Residents Can Help Rowe, Purohit Families

Two recent deaths of young people in this community have residents here wondering how they can help. Here's the answer.

A pair of funds have been set up to honor the two boys lost way too soon in St. Michael this month.

The Derek Rowe Fund has been set up at Premier Banks of Albertville in memory of the STMA fourth-grader. An account number and routing number are available by contacting stmichael@patch.com, but donations can be taken at the bank.

A meal train has also been set up for the Rowe family, if friends and neighbors want to "donate" to the family in that way.

The family of Tyler Purohit has, even prior to "T-Sizzle" leaving us, promoted Tyler's Helping Hands Fund. It's aimed at bringing things to families with children who are, like Tyler, battling illness. Donations in Tyler's memory can be made online.
