A craft store. Yarn, material for quilts and other sewing supplies is hard to get unless you drive to Elk River, Buffalo, or Monticello.

Jimmy John's drive through, Panera, Noodle's, Chipotle, Champp's. We need restaurants like these in St Michael. St Michael is giving business away to Rogers and local neighboring cities for establishments like this. It's time to upgrade and update our retail to meet or exceed our others around us!

Via the St. Michael Patch Facebook page: a few comments for a florist, Chipotle or a bakery.

Caribou, Starbucks, Dunn Brothers.....a coffee shop! Even an old fashioned one like others have said that includes the bakery idea. There's a lot of other un-developed land that needs something too, like that triangle-shaped piece of land off of 241 where the traffic splits. St. Michael does need some upgrades, but I also really cherish the small town feel. I've had dreams of quitting my "day job" and opening a small town, old fashioned ice cream parlor somewhere. Wouldn't that look great? Poor Dairy Queen :)

With possible existing structures, an antiques/crafting retail that is subleased to a number of vendors with the garage structures featuring tool/work areas. Almost like an antiques mall but within the existing structure. Obviously the structure would need electrical and some basic remodeling necessary to make it useable.
