Congresswoman Michele Bachmann Speaks at Congressional Luncheon

Congresswoman Michele Bachmann addressed members and guests of the I-94 West Chamber of Commerce during a recent Congressional Luncheon, held on July 12 at the Holiday Inn Minneapolis NW – Elk River.

In addition to discussing the need for transportation funding for the I-94 corridor, Congresswoman Bachmann also spoke about the Affordable Care Act and its impact on business owners and taxpayers.

Congresswoman Bachmann took time to answer questions from the audience, but did not share any information when asked about her future plans now that she will not seek re-election.

Carl Kuhl of Connolly Kuhl Group and the I-94 West Corridor Coalition also spoke, launching the Coalition’s advocacy campaign. Known as Green Light 94, the campaign will focus on educating the public and state government officials about the need for lane expansion to reduce congestion along the I-94 corridor.
