2013 Candidate Style Show

WOW! What a night we had last night! Thank you to everyone that was able to join us. The night was filled with fashion and fun! First the Miss and Jr. Candidates came out in their Sunday best and were introduced. The Miss candidates spoke and shared some information about each of their sponsors. Next they came out in their "Candidate's Closet" selection. There was quite the variety of outfits - for sure! The Jrs. came out next in their outfits from OSH KOSH - they were ALL sooo adorable and showed so much personality! They also answered their "fish bowl" questions - boy, did they do a great job, too! The Miss candidates came back on stage for THEIR fishbowl questions dressed to the nines in Maurice's fashions. There were some REALLY tough questions - but they all handled them with grace. The candidate video played after all the fashion - highlighting the candidate events thus far - many memories being made this year! Finally - the long awaited award presentations - 3 of them! First, the "Candidate Awards" - these awards are fun in nature and given to the girls by the committee. When we spend as much time as we do with the girls - we get to see some pretty funny stuff! The second award was for our Rock-A-Thon fundraiser - the young woman that collected the most in donations...Atalie Duncan received the honor. As a whole, the girls raised $975.00 - Atalie raised $360.00! WOW! Last year's Miss Congeniality AND current Miss Albertville, Amanda, presented the next award - 2013 Miss Congeniality. The girls' votes were in and the winner was...Nikki Arachtingi! The night ended with lots of pictures and hugs! Thank you again to OSH KOSH and Maurice's for your generosity in providing the outfits!
