2013-14 Jr. Commodore, Jacob shares a little about his FCD's weekend...

I had so much fun participating in all The Albertville Friendly City Days events this year.  Every year my mom runs the Friendly City Days 5k, and this year I wanted to run the kids race, but I didn't have time, so I am going to run it next year! I loved the spaghetti dinner at St. Albert's Parish Center, the spaghetti was AWESOME!  Right after the dinner we went to the carnival. We went on rides and played games. There was a game that let you win goldfish, but I could not win, so I asked my dad to help. He could not win either, so I did not get a goldfish.  When we got up on Sunday and it was raining I was very afraid that we would not get to ride in our convertibles for the parade, but we got lucky! That was my favorite part of the weekend. I got to be in the parade and wave to all the people. My brother even collected enough candy that I got to have some too. We went right to coronation after the parade. My mom was really nervous, but I was not nervous at all. I am so excited that I am one of the new Junior Commodores, and I am most excited to ride in more parades!
