Albertville Crosses the River to WI!!

North Hudson Wisconsin!! On Saturday, Albertville royalty made the trek across the St. Croix River into Wisconsin for the North Hudson Pepper Fest. This was the very first time Albertville royalty had participated in this festival. North Hudson only had a population of a little over three thousand but the number of people that came out to celebrate Pepper Fest was outrageous! The streets were overflowing. Many people were wearing Pepper Fest shirts and even had their faces painted! This community really went all out for their festival. Now onto our day. We started out our Wisconsin adventure at a huge brunch with fantastic food. We had breakfast pizza and even doughnuts which were big hits with Junior Miss Maddy & Junior Commodore Jacob! We were able to meet many Wisconsin royalty groups we had never ran into before. It's safe to say most of Wisconsin now knows of our Friendly City Days! From the brunch we went to the parade. The line up was crazy! I have never seen so many floats in one place. The parade route ended right next to some beautiful old buildings. The perfect picture taking opportunity while they packed up the float! We took some adorable pictures then headed off to Princess Katie's favorite ice cream shop down the road. We all enjoyed some delicious ice cream after a hot day at the parade then headed home. North Hudson Pepper Fest was so much fun to be a part of and I am so glad we had the opportunity to go.Miss Albertville Sydney
