Albertville goes back to the Wild West

Only in Minnesota can u find a celebration such as the one we attended today. The Jesse James days in northfield sure knows how to keep things entertaining. We had jam packed day filled with gunfights, barbque, and a crowd pleasing parade.
  We started our day bright eyed and bushy tailed at 7:45 in morning. We then prepared ourselves for an hour and half long car ride, but we would soon find out that it was well worth the trip. When we arrived we were greeted by both the current and past royalties. After our introductions we were escorted to a delicious bunch which included sandwiches and salads. Once all 45 royalties were done eating we were brought outside for a giant group picture.
    Another cool thing about northfields celebration is that have a reenactment of the Jesse James bank robbery which included guns, horses and much more. After this intense shootout we made our way down to our pre parade family barbque for the Holland and mavericks birthday .
    Once we made our way back to the parade the sun broke through the clouds and made it a beautiful day. The crowds were so interactive with everyone on our float and made us feel welcomed into their community. The journey to Northfield was an amazing one and will always hold a spot in my heart.
