Albertville Royalty goes to the fair!

Who is the fairest of them all? More like, who will be the Fairest of the Fair for Wright County?! This past Sunday we traveled to Howard Lake to the Wright County fair. We had a nice lunch catered in by subway. After lunch, we had some time to kill until the coronation. We decided to go see some animals. We encountered rabbits, goats, chickens, and cows. Everyone got to pet them, and even milk a cow! Okay, it wasn't real, but it was still fun!Coronation time approached and mixed emotions ran through the sparkle section, as they do every coronation. The Wright County girls were one of the first to take me, Brittany and Sydney under their royalty wing. It was sad we didn't get much time with them, and to see them cry as they read their farewells, but I know we will keep in touch. That is one thing I love about royalty, I love the bonds and friendships you make with other people. Ironically enough, I am about to tour UW La Crosse, and I'm sitting by the North Hudson Pepper Fest Queen. What are the odds of the happening? I love the opportunities and people you meet through royalty. After the coronation, we quick changed and headed to the demolition derby. Yes, princesses can get dirty too ;) oh and yes committee, we took off our crowns!!! I left part way through because it just wasn't my gig. I spent the rest of the night riding rides with Junior Miss Holland Kneefe and Maddy Oliveira, and Maddy's younger sister, Lorna. It was a fun day to spend with my royal family and congrats to the new Fairests of the Fair!!Princess Katie
