Hi my name is Holland. I am 7 years old and attend Fieldstone Elementary. My Miss Albertville Senior candidate “buddy” is Jenny. I would like to be Junior Miss Albertville 2013-2014 because I think it would be so much fun to be in lots of parades, ride on the float and wear fancy dresses! My favorite part of Albertville Friendly City Days is going on the Merry-Go-Round, eating cotton candy and Sno-cones. My favorite season is summer because I love to swim, go to the beach and play outside. One unique thing about me is my nickname Green Beans or Greenie for short. You’ll have to ask my Mommy!
I have participated in three candidate events so far: Meet the Float day, Jr Finalists Selection Day and Bowling at River Lanes in St. Michael. The float was really neat to see up close because it looks like little houses (roof tops) and has seats for all of the royalty to sit on. It was exciting and a little scary when I met the judges for the first time but I had fun and even made them laugh! Bowling was awesome because I bowled, drank Sprite and made new friends with the other finalists. I am looking forward to dressing up for the Style Show because I get to pick an outfit out from Osh Kosh B’Gosh and walk on the big stage at the new high school.
