"Because your wedding should be your most wonderful day!"

The title of my first official blog post is the reason I established Wonderful Day Weddings.

Hi, everyone! My name is Marissa Partridge and I am the owner and Certified Wedding Coordinator of Wonderful Day Weddings.

I started Wonderful Day Weddings in 2006 because I saw the need for a more personalized and fun planning experience for couples.  I currently provide wedding planning to couples in St. Cloud, the Twin Cities and surrounding suburbs. I've planned a variety of weddings from intimate to grand and I absolutely love what I do!

My foray into wedding planning started after the birth of my son. I decided to stay home with him, but I really missed my job as an Event Specialist. My mother suggested I start my own small business doing wedding planning .  Here I am five years later after figuring out how to balance my growing family and start a small business. I now have more experience than I ever could have imagined.

I've started this blog to share my knowledge of the wedding industry and inspire couples planning their nuptials. I will talk about a variety of topics that I think are relevant to the planning process, such as etiquette, fashion trends and design ideas.

In addition to that,  I will spotlight some of my preferred vendors and share some of my"Do With Planner" (DWP) projects.

From time to time, I will also share my experiences at industry events and feature some of the weddings I've planned with my clients.
