Arlene Geddis, Award-Winning Cross-Stitcher, Dies at 65

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, as well as a son, daughter-in-law, granddaughter and her mother. Services are next Monday in Plymouth.

Arlene Geddis,  65, of Rockford Township, died Dec. 23, 2013.  

Born June 13, 1948 in Lodi, CA., Arlene is survived by loving husband of 44 years, Mike; beloved son and daughter-in-law, Aaron and Julie; granddaughter, the light of Arlene’s life, Witney Bea; mother, Clara Piazza; and many other relatives and friends. 

Preceded in death by father, Edward Sifferman; stepfather, Frank Piazza.

Arlene was an award-winning cross-stitcher; she loved gardening and cooking. Arlene was dedicated to the support of others, caring for their needs and wants before her own. 

A Memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 30, 2013 at Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church of Plymouth, 12235 Old Rockford Rd. Visitation one hour before service at church.
