St. Michael, Let's Beat Wisconsin at Something!

We can't beat them on the gridiron or the hardwood. Perhaps we can, in some small way, chalk up one victory over Wisconsin here in St. Michael?

The University of Minnesota couldn't do it. Nor could our hapless Minnesota Vikings.

The Twins? Nuh-uh.

Perhaps, the "little site that could" here in St. Michael can get the job done.

I'm talking about beating Wisconsin. At SOMETHING for cryin' out loud.

Sure the Packers are 13-0. Yes, the Badgers are playing for the Roses. And, yeah, the Brewers found the postseason in baseball.

But we're now for ... wait for it ... the number of Facebook likes.

Yep, dealocked at 946.

So, we've declared a race. Which site can get to 1,000? Better yet, can one of us get to 1,000 before 2011 comes to a close?!

Let's make it happen. Even if you're not a Facebook fan, head over here and like St. Michael Patch on Facebook. You'll receive notifications for stories, get involved with discussions involving other members of the STMA community, and you can even post events that I can move over the Patch site.

C'mon. I mean, we can't count on the Timberwolves to do it, right?

Let's show Sarah Millard and Waukesha Patch we've got what it takes.

And, thanks. (Remember to click the Like button, not "like" an article.)

Bring it on!

The best way to do it is to click on the Facebook like button at the top of every page on your site. It's the one right next to the Twitter "follow" button.

Where are we at on this? Did we win?

Currently tied again ... now at 970 apiece.
