Toddler and preschoolers can check out a variety of story time options in September.
The following events are scheduled for September 2013 at the St. Michael Library, according to the Great River Regional Library website.
What: 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten
When: 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 16

Who: Babies and preschoolers
Why go: Registration and reading logs will be at the library desk Sept. 16. Prizes will be awarded at various points in the literacy journey.

When: 10:05 a.m. to 10:35 a.m. Monday, Sept. 16
Who: Toddlers from 18 months to three-years-old
Why go: New theme each week. A variety of activities to help toddlers with language and pre-literacy skills. Stories, fingerplays, songs and crafts. The class is for toddlers and their parent/caregiver.
What: Preschool Story Time - Apples
When: 11 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Monday, Sept. 16
Who: Children ages 3-5 ½ years old.
Why go: A variety of activities to help preschoolers with language and pre-literacy skills. Stories, fingerplays, songs and crafts. A small snack is provided.
