Albertville Assault Results in Arrest, Man Missing on Mississippi River

The St. Michael Fire Department had a quiet week, but Wright County Deputies were busy with calls in this week's blotter.

Wright County Sheriff's Deputies and the St. Michae Fire Department logged the follwing calls from Aug. 9 through Aug. 16:

Aug. 9

Zachary John Heiskary, 21, St Michael, was arrested in Rockford on the charge of 5th degree controlled substance violation.

Aug. 10

Thomas Joseph Albers, 42, Avon, was arrested in St Michael on the charge of drive after cancellation inimical to public safety.

Aug. 11

Brandon Lee Dick, 25, St. Michael, was arrested in Monticello on the charge of 2nd degree DWI.

Aug. 12

The St. Michael Fire Department was responded to a medical call in the 4000th block of Napier Parkway NE.  A 82 year old male was having chest pains. 

Aug. 13
The fire department responded to a medical call in the 800 block of Welter Road SW.  There was report of a male not breathing

SMFD responded to a fire call in the 4000 block of Mayfield Avenue NE for the smell of natural gas inside the residence.

Aug. 14

The fire department  responded to a medical call in the 5000 block of Parson Avenue NE.  A 59 year old female was having a rapid heartbeat.

Adam Donald Praught, 29, Albertville, was arrested in Albertville for disorderly conduct.

Paul Michael Beaudry, 34, of Albertville was arrested in Albertville on charge of disorderly conduct.

Rhonda Karen Williams, 48, of St Michael was arrested in St Michael for domestic assault.

The St. Michael Rescue team was dispatched to a medical call in the 8000t block of 10th Street NE.  There was an unresponsive male.  They were cancelled en-route.

Aug. 16

St. Michael Fire Department responded to a medical call in the 10000 block of 42nd Street NE.  A 42-year-old female was having severe side pain.

Deputies reported were 19 property damage accidents, two personal injury accidents and two hit-and-run accidents. There were 11 arrests for DWI, 21 underage consumption arrests and 75 tickets for miscellaneous traffic violations issued this week.

Monticello man missing

The Wright County Sheriff's Office also received a report of male subject who went missing while tubing on the Mississippi river east of Kadler Avenue Northeast in Otsego. Search crews from the Wright County Sheriff's Office, Sherburne County Sheriff's Office, Minnesota Department of Natural Resources and an aircraft from the Minnesota State Patrol conducted searches of the river during the week with negative results. The incident is continuing to be investigated by the Wright County Sheriff's Office and searches of the river are continuing.

The man missing is Marty Michaelis, 28, of Monticello, according to Wright County Sheriff’s Department Capt. Dan Anselment. Witnesses said he was tubing with a friend when he slipped off his tube and went under the water.
