Albertville Bank Robber Continues Crime Spree in Minneapolis

More than six weeks after starting his Twin Cities area crime spree, the so-called “Man in Black” is still at large, and still robbing banks.

The man, who is suspected in the November robbery of the location in Albertville, struck again Tuesday.

According to the FBI:

At approximately 1:45 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20, a bank robbery occurred at Franklin Bank located at 1527 East Lake Street in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  The robber, who was described as a white male, entered the bank and approached the teller counter with a handgun.  The robber demanded and received cash from the victim teller.  After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the robber fled from the bank.

The robber was described as a white male in his mid 30s.  He stood approximately 6 feet tall in height and had a medium build.  He wore a black mask, a khaki jacket, a grey cap, black gloves, and blue jeans.  The robber also brandished a small handgun during the robbery.  

 The FBI believes the serial robber nicknamed “the man in black” to be responsible for this robbery.
