Child Hits Head and Car Fire: Albertville Fire Department Report

The department also responded to a possible broken ankle and a woman with chest pain.

The Albertville Fire Department responded to the following calls from July 3-6, 2013. 

Information is provided by the Albertville Fire Department and believed to be correct at time of publishing. 

July 3
  • A car fire was reported at the intersection of Barthel Industrial Drive Northeast and 50th Street Northeast. When firefighters arrived, they saw smoke coming from under the hood, but no fire.
  • A smoke alarm sounded in the 6500 block of Laketowne Place Northeast. The call was canceled by Wright County dispatch before the trucks left the fire hall.
July 4
  • Someone reported an 86-year-old man in the 5500 block of Kalland Avenue Northeast was having difficulty breathing.
  • The department responded to a medical call in the 12400 block of 65th Street Northeast in Otsego for a 24-year-old male with a possible broken ankle.
July 6 
  • A child fell and hit their head in the 6400 block of Labeaux Avenue Northeast. The call was canceled by a Wright County deputy once they arrived.
  • A 69-year-old woman was having chest pain in the 10100 block of 64th Street Northeast.
