Delano Man Charged with Robbing Buffalo McDonald’s

The indictment alleges that an undisclosed amount of money was taken from the restaurant and the 34-year-old man threatened employees with a firearm.

A 34-year-old Delano man was charged recently in connection with the April 24 robbery of a McDonald’s Restaurant in Buffalo, according the United States Attorney’s Office.

A federal indictment was unsealed June 5, according the United States Attorney’s Office, which stated Matthew Dillon Sisneros was charged with “one count of interference with commerce by robbery” along with “one count of possession of a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence, one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm and one count of possession of an unregistered firearm.”

The indictment alleges, according to United States Attorney’s Office, that Sisneros took “an undisclosed amount of money was taken from the restaurant and the 34-year-old man threatened employees with a firearm” on April 24. It continues stating that he had a 12-gauge, semi-automatic, sawed-off shotgun “with an obliterated serial number” and was not registered.

Sisneros was prohibited under federal law to possess a firearm or ammunition, according the United States Attorney’s Office.

The case was investigated by Buffalo Police, the Wright County Sheriff’s Office and the United States Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives along with the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.
