DEVELOPING STORY: Fire Levels Barn North of Albertville Saturday

Four departments responded to a weekend blaze on McAlister Avenue in Otsego. A barn on the property was a total loss.

Smoke poured out of a barn before firefighters reached the burning structure around 10 a.m. Saturday morning.

Albertville, St. Michael, Rogers and Elk River Fire Departments all responded to the call at the intersection of McAllister Avenue and 77th Avenue Northeast in Otsego, about a half mile north of Albertville.

Fire investigators said a skid steer tractor in the barn sparked the blaze when it started on fire. It's not known what started the Bobcat on fire Saturday.
