Drive-By Shooting, Burglary and Disorderly Conduct: Recent Sentencings in Wright County Court

Otsego, Elk River, Buffalo and Monticello residents received sentencings in the week of Dec. 3. No St. Michael or Albertville sentencings took place. Information was provided by the office of Wright County Attorney Tom Kelly.

Otsego

Michael Alan Munkholm, 28, of Otsego, sentenced on Nov. 29 for misdemeanor disorderly conduct to 90 days jail, $100 fine; 90 days stayed for one year on conditions of probation, pay $100 fine plus law library fee, complete 40 hours community service, have no same or similar violations. Sentenced by Judge Davis.

Elk River

Tyler Louis Volby, 20, of Elk River, sentenced on Dec. 3 for felony drive by shooting to a stay of imposition for three years on conditions of probation, serve 30 days jail, pay $75 public defender co-payment, undergo a chemical dependency assessment and follow all recommendations, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, provide DNA sample, obtain permission before leaving the state, have no use or possession of firearms or dangerous weapons, attend a support group, have no same or similar violations. Sentenced by Judge Tenney.

Buffalo

Bryce Alexander Davis, 23, of Buffalo, sentenced on Nov. 29 for probation violations for gross misdemeanor criminal damage to property in the third degree to 20 days jail. Sentenced by Judge Davis.

Levi Alan Keehr, 26, of Buffalo, sentenced on Nov. 30 for misdemeanor theft to 90 days jail, $1,000 fine; 90 days, $700 stayed for one year on conditions of probation, pay $300 fine plus surcharges, pay restitution, have no same or similar violations. Sentenced by Judge Halsey.

Monticello

Brian Darrell Harper, 26, of Monticello, sentenced on Dec. 3 for felony burglary in the third degree to 28 months prison, pay restitution. The charge of gross misdemeanor giving false information to a peace officer was dismissed. Sentenced by Judge Tenney.
