Fire Calls: Accidents, Medical Calls Keep St. Michael Fire Busy

Medical calls and auto accidents have been springing St. Michael's volunteer department into action, but no wildfires have been reported despite the dry conditions in Wright County.

The following information on fire calls was provided by the St. Michael Fire Department staff. 

September 19
The department responded to a medical call in the 5000th block of Jamison Avenue NE for a student having a seizure.

September 20
The department responded to a medical call in the 100th block of 2nd Street SE for a 64 year old female having chest pains.

September 21
The SMFD responded to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Willow Drive SW and Maple Lane SW.

September 22
The SMFD responded to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of 1st Street SE and St. Michael Parkway NE for a vehicle rollover.

The department responded to a gas leak call in the 500th block of Meadowlark Road SE. 

September 23
The department responded to a medical call in the 500th block of Maren Circle SW for a 36 year old female having a seizure.

September 25
The department responded to a medical call in the 4000th block of Mason Lane NE for a hot oil burn on a 18 month old male.

September 30
The St. Michael Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle accident on County Road 19 at 16th Street NE.

October 1
The SMFD responded to a fire alarm call in the 5000th block of Jamison Avenue NE.  It was a false alarm.

October 3
The SMFD responded to a fire call in the 100th block of Cherrywood Avenue NW.  There was smoke and sparks coming from an electrical strip.
