Fire Calls Continue to Focus on First Response in STMA

The following calls were placed to St. Michael and Albertville fire departments via Wright County Dispatch. 

Tuesday, November 12

The Albertville Fire and Rescue department responded to a call in the 6900 block of Laketowne Drive NE for the smell of gas.

Wednesday, November 13

AFD responded to a medical call in the 10200 block of Karston Avenue NE for a 41-year-old male having difficulty breathing.

Thursday, November 14

St. Michael Fire responded to a medical call in the 10000th block of 45th Place NE for a male who was having chest pains.

 AFD responded to a fire alarm call in the 11300 block of 50th Street NE. It was a false alarm.

Friday, November 15

AFD responded to a call in the 8800 block of LaBeaux Avenue NE in Otsego for a 41-year-old with stomach pain. The call was cancelled by the Wright County Deputy at the scene.

SMFD responded to a medical call in the 500th block of Maple Knoll Way NE for a female who was feeling ill.

AFD responded to a fire alarm call in the 6500 block of Jansen Avenue NE in Otsego. The call was cancelled en-route by Wright County.

Saturday, November 16

AFD responded to a call in the 7700 block of Lander Avenue NE for a lightning strike. The garage door opener was smoking so the responders unplugged the unit and turned off the breaker.

Tuesday, November 19
SMFD responded to a medical call in the 13000th of the 43rd Street NE for a female who was non-responsive.
SMFD responded to a medical call in the 13000th block of 60th Street NE for a male who was feeling weak and dizzy.
