Fire Calls Trickle In During Holiday Week in St. Michael, Albertville

Calls have slowed with some better road conditions in northern Wright County.

A couple of accidents and medical calls got St. Michael and Albertville community firefighters into action over the past couple of weeks.  
Wednesday, Dec. 11

The Albertville Fire and Rescue department responded to a fire alarm in the 10200 block of 49th Street NE. The call was cancelled by Wright County Dispatch.

AFD responded to a call at the intersection of County Road 19 and County Road 37 for a motor vehicle accident. The call was cancelled before the trucks left the station.

AFD responded to a fire alarm call in the 6500 block of Jansen Avenue NE in Otsego. The call was cancelled en-route by a Wright County Deputy.

Friday, December 13

AFD responded to a call at the intersection of Jason Avenue NE and County Road 19 for a motor vehicle accident. The call was cancelled by Wright County Dispatch before the trucks left the station.

AFD responded to a call in the 11400 block of 57th Street NE for a 90-year-old female who had fainted.

Saturday, December 14

AFD responded to a call on I-94 Eastbound at mile marker 199 for a motor vehicle accident. The call was cancelled by the State of Minnesota before the trucks left the station.

AFD responded to a request to stand by for the Monticello Fire Department.

Monday, December 16

The Albertville Fire and Rescue department responded to a medical call in the 5600 block of Large Avenue NE for a male experiencing weakness in his arms.

St. Michael Fire responded to a medical call in the 100th block of Birch Avenue NW for a 19 year old having difficulty breathing.

SMFD responded to a fire alarm call in the 9000th block of 40th Street NE. 

Wednesday, December 18

SMFD responded to a odor of smoke call in the 5000th block of Ibarra Avenue NE.

Thursday, December 19

AFD responded to a medical call in the eastbound lane of I-94 just west of mile marker 200. The call was canceled en-route by Allina.

Friday, December 20

AFD responded to a medical call in the 7500 block of Langley Avenue NE in Otsego for a female with numbness in her back and neck.

Saturday, December 21

AFD responded to a motor vehicle accident call at the intersection of 57th Avenue NE and LaBeaux Avenue NE. The call was canceled by Wright County Dispatch before the trucks left the fire station.

Monday, December 23

The department responded to a motor vehicle accident on County Road 36 and Ogren Avenue NE.  They were cancelled en-route. 

The department responded to a medical call in the 11000th block of 16th Street NE for a 69 year old with sever back pain.
