Gun-Wielding Passengers Cause Pullover in St. Michael

A man brandishing a pellet gun while traveling in a car caused a stir in the northwest metro Monday around noon.

St. Michael Patch received a few calls and e-mails about a hectic scene in downtown St. Michael Monday around noon. 

According to the Wright County Sheriff's Department:

At 11:41 a.m. yesterday, Rogers Police and the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office requested assistance at Larabee Avenue and Highway 241 to assist with a high-risk traffic stop.

The Hennepin County units received a report of a handgun being displayed by one of the occupants inside of the vehicle. 

A total of six people were removed from the vehicle during the traffic stop, and a pellet gun was located in the vehicle.
