Hanover Fire Assists With House Blaze in Rockford
The fire on Division Street in Rockford Township destroyed the Abbas home.
Hanover Fire Department firefighters were called to the scene of a fully involved house fire in Rockford Township Saturday night.
According to Wright County Dispatch reports, the Wright County Sheriff's Office was notified of a house fire at 2561 Division St E in Rockford Township.
Buffalo Fire, Rockford Fire and Hanover Fire responded to the scene. Upon arrival of first responders, the home was filled with smoke and flames were visible in the kitchen. The house was a total loss.
No injuries were reported. Home owners are Elmer and Carole Abbas. The cause of the fire remains under investigation. The Minnesota State Patrol also assisted at the scene.
