Hanover Man Sentenced to 3 Months for Sex Crime: Wright County Sentencings

The following sentencings were handed down in Wright County District Court over the last 10-day period. Information is provided by Wright County Attorney Tom Kelly's office.

 

Nicholas Charles Engstrom, 25, of Hanover was sentenced to three months in jail for felony third-degree criminal sexual conduct and for probation violations.

He was sentenced by Judge Mottl on Jan. 2.

Other sentencings handed down in Wright County over the last 10-day period include: 

Adam Dale Fosdick, 28, address unknown, sentenced on Dec. 31 for probation violations for gross misdemeanor violation of no contact order to 365 days jail. Sentenced by Judge Halsey.

Kacey Steven Lawler, 23, of Buffalo, sentenced on Dec. 31 for probation violations for gross misdemeanor third-degree DWI to two days jail. Sentenced by Judge Mottl.

Jeffrey John VanLith, 32, of Buffalo, sentenced on Dec. 31 for probation violations for gross misdemeanor violation of no-contact order to 60 days jail.Sentenced by Judge Mottl.

Stephen Roger Nelson, 38, of Monticello, sentenced on Jan. 3 for gross misdemeanor receiving stolen property to 365 days jail, $3,000 fine; 335 days, $2,700 stayed for one year on conditions of probation, serve 30 days jail, pay $300 fine plus surcharges, pay $75 public defender co-payment, pay restitution, have no contact with victim or victim's residence, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, provide DNA sample, have no same or similar violations. Sentenced by Judge Mottl.
