Ice, Light Snow Create Havoc for Wright County Deputies
More than two dozen accidents were reported over the last 10 days thanks to icy roads and some heavier snow Thursday night. Those calls dominate this week's calls report.
January 19
The St. Michael Fire Department responded to the report of a vehicle on fire in the 200th block of Main Street S. It was a false alarm.

Albertville Fire Department (AFD) responded to a chimney fire at 11:43 p.m. on the 9200 block of 65th Street NE in Otsego

SMFD provided mutual aid to the Albertville Fire Department for a chimney fire in the 9000th block of 65th Street NE.
AFD responded to a possible commercial tanker truck on fire at 11:35 a.m. on westbound Interstate 94. They were canceled prior to leaving station.
January 23
David Matthew Brunckhorst, 34, of St Paul was arrested in Washington County on a Wright County warrant for theft.
January 24
AFD responded to a medical emergency at 9:16 a.m. on the 6800 block of Lakewood Drive for a male party with a leg injury.
January 25
AFD responded to a medical emergency at 4 p.m. on the 5400 block of Main Avenue for a female with a head injury.
AFD responded to a medical emergency at 4:20 p.m. on the 5500 block of Kalland Avenue for a male with stomach pain.
January 26
AFD responded to a medical emergency at 1:53 p.m. on the 7300 block of Kalland Avenue in Otsego for a female with chest pain.
Mark Donald Faue, 47, of Otsego was arrested in Otsego on a Wright County warrant for 3rd degree controlled substance violation and new charges of 5th degree controlled substance violation and introduction of contraband into a correctional facility.
January 29
Jason Richard Fournier, 30, of Elk River was arrested in Otsego on the charge of 2nd degree DWI.
Charles Rodney Schultz, 49, of Otsego was arrested in Otsego on the charge of domestic assault.
Anthony Joseph Bartell, 29, of Albertville was arrested in St. Michael on the charge of 2nd degree DWI.
Wright County Deputies reported 25 property damage accidents, two personal injury accidents, four hit-and-run accidents and two car vs. deer accidents. There were also 12 arrests for DWI, one underage consumption issued and
97 tickets for miscellaneous traffic violations issued this week.
