Medical emergencies, DWI Featured in Police, Fire Report

A Minneapolis man was arrested for DWI in Albertville, while Wright County Deputies tracked down a wanted woman in St. Michael.

St. Michael and Albertville fire departments responded to various medical calls throughout the last two-week period. There was one vehicle rollover in rural St. Michael. Snow and ice contributed to that accident. 

Jan. 5

A 46-year-old Minneapolis man was arrested in St. Michael for 2nd-degree DWI.

Jan. 6

St. Michael fire responded to a medical call at 8:14 p.m. in the 14000 block of 55th Street. There was a 51-year-old man with chest pains.

Jan. 7

A 25-year-old Buffalo woman was arrested in St. Michael on the charge of giving false information to police. 

St. Michael Fire responded to a medical call at 12:01 a.m. in the 5000 block of Quale Avenue. A 23-year-old man was having a seizure. 

Jan. 8

A Coon Rapids man, 18, was arrested in St. Michael on an Anoka County Warrant for trespassing. 

The St. Michael Fire was called to a fire alarm in the 3000 block of Langson Lane at about 2:36 p.m. The call was canceled en route. 

Jan. 9

The St. Michael Fire Deparment responded to a medical call in the 600 block of Ridge Drive. A female, 68, was having a seizure, unresponsive and having difficulty breathing. 

The St. Michael Fire Department responded to a fire alarm sounding in the 10th block of Main Street. They were canceled en route. 

Jan. 10

Albertville Fire responded to a medical emergency at 6:46 p.m. in the 5600 block of Main Avenue. A man was in cardiac arrest. 

Jan. 12

Albertville Fire Department responded to a medical emergency in the 11000 block of 57th Street. A woman was having a severe nosebleed. 

Albertville Fire responded to a call at 7:50 a.m. in the 10000 block of Karstan Cove. A woman had broken her leg. 

St. Michael Fire and Rescue responded to a vehicle rollover at 7:04 a.m. near the intersection of 30th Street and Garrsion Avenue. 

Wright County Sheriff's deputies reported 19 property damage accidents, two hit-and-run accidents and 17 arrests for DWI through Jan. 12. There were seven arrests for underage consumption and 141 miscellaneous traffic violations issued.
