Minnesota State Patrol: Driver Sped Too Fast Around Curve in Semi Truck Rollover in Albertville

The rollover near Space Aliens last week resulted in no injuries.

The driver of the semi truck that rolled over near Space Aliens in Albertville Wednesday was driving too fast around the curve, causing the rear tires to raise off the road, police say.

The driver, Daniel Oluma Ganti, of Brooklyn Park, was not injured, and no other injuries were reported. He was cited for driving without due care, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

The truck was traveling westbound on County Road 37 NE in Albertville when it rolled over onto its passenger side shortly after 12 p.m. The truck lay in the middle of the road, with the trailer resting in the grass shoulder, causing several road closures in the area until the scene was cleared.
