Otsego Woman Indicted With Misappropriation of Postal Funds

The woman was a former employee of the United States Post Office, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.

A 52-year-old Otsego woman was charged recently with one count of misappropriation of postal funds.

A federal indictment March 27 charges former United States Postal Employee Kathleen M. Warner with allegedly taking approximately $10,365.57 from the Brooklyn Park Post Office, according to a press release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

From approximately February 2010 to August 2012, the indictment alleges Warner took from her cash drawer, removed stamps and other merchandise without paying for them.
