Pornography, Terroristic Threats Lead Wright County Jail Sentences

A Monticello man will serve several weeks in jail for possession of pornography, while an Elk River man will do time for terroristic threats. That and more in this week's wrap.

The following people were sentenced in Wright County District court earlier this month, completing their due process. 

Charles David Hadro, 38, of Otsego, sentenced on Nov. 1 for Terroristic Threats and Gross Misdemeanor Second Degree DWI to 365 days jail, $300 fine; 305 days stayed for two years on conditions of probation, serve 60 days jail, pay $300 fine plus surcharges, attend MADD Panel, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, have no use or possession of firearms or dangerous weapons, provide DNA sample, undergo chemical dependency treatment and follow all recommendations, have no same or similar violations.  Sentenced by Judge Strand.

Justin Dean Hensley, 36, of Rockford, sentenced on Nov. 4 for three counts of Felony Possession of Pornographic Work on Computer Disk to a stay of imposition for 5 years on conditions of probation, serve 75 days jail, pay $500 fine plus surcharges, complete a sex offender program and follow all recommendations, provide DNA sample, register as a sex offender, have no contact with persons under the age of 18 years unless approved by probation agent, submit to polygraph, have no use or possession of pornography, have no use or possession of firearms or dangerous weapons, have no use or possession of controlled substances, obtain permission before leaving the state, have no same or similar violations.  Sentenced by Judge Halsey.

Susan Kay Jahr, 63, of Maple Plain, sentenced on Nov. 4 for Probation Violations for Felony Controlled Substance Crime in the Third Degree to 21 months prison.  Sentenced by Judge Strand.

Brent Michael Kasper, 31, of Elk River, sentenced on Nov. 4 for Felony Terroristic Threats to a stay of imposition for five years on conditions of probation, serve 90 days jail, pay $300 fine plus surcharges, attend a support group, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, have no use or possession of firearms or dangerous weapons, obtain permission before leaving the state, provide DNA sample, have no contact with victim, undergo a chemical dependency evaluation and follow all recommendations, undergo a domestic abuse evaluation and follow all recommendations, have no same or similar violations.  Sentenced by Judge Strand.

Lisa Ann Porter, 48, of Annandale, sentenced on Nov. 4 for Probation Violations for Gross Misdemeanor Domestic Assault to 5 days jail.  Sentenced by Judge Strand.

Stephen Paul Aanerud, 53, of Monticello, sentenced on Nov. 7 for Felony Possession of Pornographic Work to a stay of imposition for five years on conditions of probation, serve 45 days jail, pay $125 surcharges, undergo a psychological sexual evaluation and follow all recommendations, complete a sex offender program and follow all recommendations, provide DNA sample, register as a sex offender, have no contact with persons under the age of 18 years, submit to a polygraph examination, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, have no contact with co-defendants, have no use or possession of pornography, have no use or access of the internet without approval, obtain permission before leaving the state, submit to random searches, have no use or possession of firearms or dangerous weapons, have no same or similar violations.  Sentenced by Judge McPherson.

Nathan Everett Anderson, 21, of Becker, sentenced on Nov. 13 for Probation Violations for two counts of Felony Criminal Sexual Conduct in the Second Degree to 120 days jail.  Sentenced by Judge Halsey.

Christopher Lee Cannon, 25, address unknown, sentenced on Nov. 12 for Probation Violations for Felony Check Forgery to 17 months prison.  Sentenced by Judge Halsey. 

Gary Eugene Carr, age 33, address unknown, sentenced for Probation Violations for Felony Terroristic Threats to 18 months prison.  Sentenced for Probation Violations for Felony Violation of No Contact Order to 90 days jail, concurrent.  Sentenced by Judge Strand. 

Tammy Lea Cochran, 45, of Monticello, sentenced on Nov. 8 for Misdemeanor Fourth Degree DWI to 90 days jail; 86 days stayed for two years on conditions of probation, serve 4 days jail, pay $75  public defender co-payment, attend Awareness Panel for Impaired Drivers, serve 20 days on electronic home monitoring, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, undergo chemical dependency treatment and follow all recommendations, have no same or similar violations.  Sentenced by Judge Davis.

Robert Joseph Smith, 35, of Buffalo, sentenced on Nov. 13 for Probation Violations for two counts of Felony Violation of No Contact Order to 90 days jail.  Sentenced by Judge McPherson.

Garrett James Wilson, 29, of Monticello, sentenced on Nov. 7 for Probation Violations for Felony Violation of No Contact Order to 21 months prison.  Sentenced Gross Misdemeanor Assault in the Fifth Degree to 365 days jail, concurrent.    Sentenced by Judge McPherson.
