Recent Fire Calls Center Around Medical Assists

A fallen child and an assist with a gas stove were part of recent calls to action.

The following requests for service were placed to Albertville and St. Michael Fire departments in early November. 

Oct. 31

St. Michael Fire responded to a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 94.  They were cancelled en-route by Wright County Sheriff’s Department.

SMFD responded to a medical call in the 000th block of Larabee Avenue NE for a male with a head injury.

Nov. 1

SMFD responded to a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 94 with possible injuries.  

SMFD responded to a medical call in the 500th block of Terrace Road NW for a 2 year old having a seizure.

Nov. 2

SMFD responded to a fire alarm call in the 13000th block of 55th Street NE.  It was a false alarm.

Nov. 5

The Albertville Fire and Rescue department responded to a call on I-94 Westbound exit ramp 201 for a semi-truck brake fire.           

Nov. 7

AFD responded to a medical call in the 11200 block of 68th Street NE for a 16-month-old who had fallen.

Nov. 8

AFD responded to a fire call at a field 1 mile east of Albertville exit 201 on the south side. No fire was found.

Nov. 10

AFD responded to a fire alarm in the 13300 block of 60th Street NE. The call was cancelled by Wright County Dispatch prior to trucks leaving the Fire Hall.

AFD responded to a call at the intersection of CSAH 19 and 60th Street NE for a motor vehicle accident. The call was cancelled by Wright County Dispatch prior to trucks leaving the Fire Hall.

AFD responded to a call in the 5500 block of Kalenda Drive NE for a 14-year-old having difficulty breathing. Allina ambulance was on the scene prior to arrival.

Nov. 11

SMFD responded to a medical call in the 5000th block of Quale Ave NE for a female who was unconscious.
AFD responded to a smoke alarm call in the 9600 block of 71st Street NE in Otsego. The call was cancelled by the alarm company prior to trucks leaving the Fire Hall.
SMFD responded to a medical call in the 4000th block of Lange Avenue NE for a chemical odor smell in the building.

SMFD responded to a carbon monoxide alarm call in the 900th block of Ridge Drive SE.

Nov. 12

SMFD responded to fire call in the 11000th block of 21 Street NE for a gas stove that would not shut off.
