Rollover Near Albertville Highlights Fire, Police Calls

A rollover on County Road 37 last week resulted in minor injuries for a local driver. That, and other calls from the week in today's roundup.

October 19

Nicholas Charles Engstrom, 23, Hanover was arrested in Buffalo on a Wright County warrant for 3rd degree criminal sexual conduct.

Anthony David Nygren, 21, St. Michael was charged with gross misdemeanor contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

October 20

Rhonda Karen Williams, 48, St. Michael was arrested in St. Michael for violation conditions release.

October 21

Julie Lynn Orr, 42, Otsego, was charged with gross misdemeanor third degree driving while intoxicated.

Albertville Fire responded to a small brush fire at 9:53 p.m. on 61st street behind the Co-op and city park. The fire appeared to be intentionally started.

October 22

The St. Michael Fire Department responded to a medical call in the 4000 lock of Lange Avenue NE. There was a 79-year-old female having trouble with her pacemaker.

AFD responded to a medical emergency at 4:08 a.m. on the 10500 block of 64th lane. A male party was unconscious.

AFD responded to a motor vehicle accident at 1:37 p.m. on eastbound I-94. They were cancelled en-route by state patrol. 

October 23

Chareunsack Phrachomphonh, 38, Albertville was arrested in Silver Creek Township for drive after cancellation inimical to public safety.

SMFD responded to a medical call in the 300 block of Kalenda Avenue NE. There was a 38-year-old male experiencing chest pains.

AFD responded to a motor vehicle accident at 10:04 p.m. on westbound I-94. Female with minor injuries

October 24

St. Michael Fire Department responded to a fire call in the 300 block of Edelweiss Circle NE. There was a strong smell of gas. 

October 25

SMFD responded to a fire call in the 11000th block of 37th Street NE. There was a possible electrical fire.

AFD responded to a medical emergency at 1:00 p.m. on the 13200 block of 70th Avenue NE in Otsego. A female was short of breath. 

October 26

AFD responded to a residential fire alarm at 9:58 p.m. on the 7300 block of McAllister Avenue NE in Otsego. The call was canceled before going into service.

AFD responded to a motor vehicle accident at 10:03 p.m. on the 13600 block of 60th Street NE in Otsego. There was a one vehicle rollover with minor injuries.

 Wright County Sheriff’s deputies reported 14 property damage accidents, two personal injury accidents and four car vs. deer accidents. There was one arrest for DWI, one underage consumption arrest and 22 tickets for miscellaneous traffic violations issued this week.
