St. Michael Fire Assists Hanover with Rockford Bar Blaze

The St. Michael Fire Department assisted several departments during the May 10 fire that decimated Cowboyz Bar in Rockford. That and more in this week's blotter.

Friday, May 10, 2012 at 3:37 p.m., the Wright County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call reporting the roof of Cowboyz Bar and Grill, located at 6030 Main St in the City of Rockford, was on fire.

Wright County Deputies arrived on scene with Rockford Fire Dept and found a large amount of smoke coming from the roof.

The Rockford Fire Department was assisted by the Loretto, Hanover, Buffalo, Maple Plain and Delano Fire Departments. with St. Michael on standby for Hanover. The fire and damage was contained to the single building. There were no injuries as a result of the fire. The cause of the fire remains under investigation by Rockford Fire Department.

May 10

The St. Michael Fire Department responded to a fire in the 600th block of Main Street in the City of Rockford.   There was a bar on fire in Rockford. The department was on stand-by to cover for the Hanover Fire Department during the Rockford fire call.

May 15

Tyler Louis Volby, 20, of Elk River was arrested in Sherburne County on a Wright County warrant for drive by shooting.

Michael Gordon Schumm, 44, of Foley was arrested in Otesgo on the charge of obstructing legal process.

May 16

Jillian Mae Valley, 32, of St. Michael was arrested in Howard Lake on an apprehension and detention order from Wright County.

May 18

Teresa Marie Madsen, 31, of Minneapolis was arrested in Albertville on the charge of disorderly conduct.

Wright County Deupties reporters 12 Property Damage Accidents, one Personal Injury Accidents, a Hit and Run Accident and a Car vs. Deer Accidents. There were three arrests for DWI, one Underage Consumption arrests and 14 tickets for miscellaneous traffic violations issued this week.
