St. Michael Fire Department Responds to Jogger Hit by Vehicle

False smoke alarms, knee problems and difficulty breathing were other incidents the fire department responded to in the past two weeks.

A female jogger in her late 40s was hit by a car last week as it was moving in reverse and the driver "didn't look behind them,"  according to reports from the St. Michael Fire Department.

The department was called to the scene in the 4000th block of Mayer Avenue NE on Nov. 21. The jogger had minor injuries — scrapes and an injured ankle. She was transported to Maple Grove Hospital.
