Underage Consumption Arrests Rise in Wright County

Summer's arrival means more chances to party for kids in the area, as evidenced by a recent spike in Wright County citations for underage consumption.

June 7
 and Rescue responded to a medical emergency at 9:07 a.m. in the 5500 block of Jansen Avenue NE in Otsego for a female that fell in the parking lot.

Albertville Fire and Rescue responded to a medical emergency at 7:45 p.m. on the 10100 block of Karston Avenue NE for a 1-month-old not breathing.

The responded to a fire alarm call in the 400th block of Dogwood Court NE.  They were cancelled en-route.

June 8 
Albertville Fire and Rescue responded to a medical emergency at 9:00 p.m. at the city’s Central Park for a female that was hit by a softball.

June 10
SMFD responded to a medical call in the 600th block of 3rd Street SW.  There was a female having a medical issue.

June 12
AFD responded to a commercial fire alarm at the outlet mall at 10:37 a.m. It was a false alarm due to recent system testing.

The SMFD responded to a gas leak call in the 400th block of Central Avenue NE.  Upon further investigation they did not find anything.

Keith Allen Messinger, 39, of Mounds View was arrested in Otsego on the charge of possession of stolen property.

On June 12, Steven Wayne Fasbender, 33, no permanent address was arrested in Otesgo on the charge of possession of stolen property

June 13
SMFD responded to a medical call in the 4000th block of Lange Avenue NE.  An elderly female had fallen.

June 15
AFD responded to a medical emergency at 7:48AM on 6/15/2012 on the 5500 block of Kalland Avenue Ne for a person that was having difficulty breathing.

June 16
Adam Winfrey Redburn, 25, of Buffalo was arrested in Albertville on the charge of 2nd degree DWI.

Wright County Deputies reported four property damage accidents, one personal injury accident, one hit-and-run Accidents and a car vs. deer accident. There were six arrests for DWI, 32 underage consumption arrests, a School Bus Stop Arm Violation and 44 tickets for miscellaneous traffic violations issued this week.
