Warrant Arrests, Fleeing Police: Wright County Sheriff’s Office Report

A 26-year-old Monticello man was arrested in Monticello on a St. Croix County, WI warrant for first degree homicide.

The following incidents were among the arrests in the county made by Wright County deputies Aug. 26 to Sept. 2, 2013. 

Aug. 26

  • An 18-year-old Buffalo man was arrested in Monticello Township on the charge of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
  •  A 62-year-old Buffalo man was arrested in Buffalo on the charge of criminal vehicular operation.
  • A 27-year-old Buffalo man was arrested in Buffalo on the charge of 4th degree criminal sexual conduct.

Aug. 28
  • A 26-year-old Monticello man was arrested in Monticello on a St. Croix County, WI warrant for 1st degree homicide and a Wright County warrant for 5th degree controlled substance violation.
Aug. 29
  • A 35-year-old Albertville man was charged with gross misdemeanor crime against family malicious punishment.
 Aug. 30
  • A 43-year-old Monticello woman was arrested in Buffalo on the charge of obstructing the legal process.
 Aug. 31
  • A 20-year-old Monticello man was arrested in Monticello on the charges of disorderly conduct and flee police on foot.
Sept. 1
  • A 26-year-old Fargo, ND man was arrested in Albertville on the charge of 3rd degree DWI.
Sept. 2
  • A 34-year-old woman Buffalo was arrested in Rockford Township on the charge of 5th degree controlled substance violation.
  •  A 19-year-old Buffalo man was arrested in Buffalo on the charge of contempt of court.
 
There were 29 property damage accidents, 11 personal injury accidents, one hit and run accidents and two car/deer accidents. There were seven arrests for DWI and 57 tickets for miscellaneous traffic violations reported this week.
