Weather, DUI Arrests Highlight Police and Fire Calls

Sheriff Joe Hagerty of Wright County said the summer's been "pretty quiet." He added that first responders have stayed busy with weather calls all summer, however.

A look at police and fire calls in St. Michael and Albertville through Tuesday, July 12.

July 6

Jillian Mae Valley, 32, St Michael, was arrested in Rockford on an apprehension and detention order from Wright County.

Robert Gregory Bowers, 28, of St Michael was arrested in St Michael on the charge of 3rd degree DWI.

July 7

The St. Michael Fire Department responded to a fire alarm call in the 1900th block of La Beaux Avenue NE.  They were cancelled en-route.

Chad Michael Huber, 38, Otsego, was arrested in Otsego on the charge of 3rd degree DWI.

July 8

Michael James Harrison, 34, Otsego, was arrested in Sherburne County on a Wright County warrant for illegal possession of a pistol.

July 9

Jonathan Joseph Drake, 37, of Albertville was arrested in Albertville on the charge of domestic assault.

July 10

St. Michael Fire Department was dispatched to weather spot in case of severe weather. The department did respond to a weather call in the 400th block of Creekside Drive SE.  A tree had blown down and was blocking the roadway.

July 11

The St. Michael Fire Department was dispatched to a fire call in the 200 block of Heights Road NE.  The homeowner accidently cut the gas line.

SMFD also responded to a medical call in the 4000th block of Lange Avenue NE.  An 80-year-old male had fallen.

Wright County deputies 16 Property Damage Accidents, three personal injury accidents and four hit-and-run accidents. There were 17 arrests for DWI, two anderage consumption arrests, and 47 tickets for miscellaneous traffic violations issued this week.
