Wright County Authorities Searching for Man Wanted for Murder

An Asian male is on the run, police believe, after he robbed and murdered an Annandale man less than two weeks ago. A family member was recently arrested in Albertville.

The Wright County Sheriff’s Office and Annandale Police Department are attempting to locate Preston Saengchanthalath for Second Degree Murder and Armed Robbery in relation to a homicide that took place on Saturday, Sept. 28 in Annandale, MN.

There is a warrant out for the arrest of Saengchanthalath from Wright County.

Authorities believe he may be in the St. Cloud area, and he should be considered armed and dangerous. 

Preston Saengchanthalath is described as 5 feet, 5 inches tall, weights about 175 pounds, has brown eyes, brown Hair, and is an Asian male.

According to arrest records, two of Saengchanthalath’s relatives have had run-ins with the law, including an incident in Albertville. 

Thomas Kevin Saengchanthalath, 19, of Albertville was arrested in Albertville Oct. 2 on the charge of aid/abet robbery.

Keotavanh Saengchanthalath, 31, of St. Cloud was arrested recently as well in Stearns County on a Wright County warrant for trespassing.
