Wright County Deputies Search for Suspect after Monticello Robbery
A man was robbed in his room by a woman armed with a handgun.
The Wright County Sheriff's Office is searching for a female suspect after a holdup at a Monticello motel yesterday.
According to a release from the WCSO:
At 3:14 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8, the Wright County Sheriff's Office responded to the Americinn at 118 7th St. E. in Monticello after a 28-year-old male reported being robbed at gunpoint by a female in room 112.
The man reported the woman pointed a small automatic style pistol at him and took cash from him.
The suspect is described as an olive-skinned female with blonde hair that appeared to have been shaven on the right side of her head. The female was wearing ripped jeans at the time of the robbery.
The incident remains under investigation by the Wright County Sheriff's Office.
