Wright County Sentencings Include Sex Offender, Thefts

The following sentences were handed down in Wright County District Court over the last week of September and early part of October.

The following sentences were issued by the Wright County Courts recently. 

Joshua Scot Dugstadt, 21, of Rockford, sentenced Sept. 30 for Felony Criminal Sexual Conduct in the Third Degree to a stay of imposition for five years on conditions of probation, serve 180 days jail, pay $400 fine plus surcharges, obtain permission before leaving the state, pay restitution, provide DNA sample, register as a sex offender, have no unsupervised contact with persons under the age of 18 years, have no contact with victim or victim's family, submit to a polygraph, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, have no use or possession of pornography, have no use or possession of firearms or dangerous weapons, have no use or access to the internet without approval from probation agent, have no same or similar violations. Sentenced by Judge Mottl.

Steven Lee Emerson, 40, of Monticello, sentenced Oct. 4 for Gross Misdemeanor Second Degree DWI to 365 days jail, $3,000 fine; 335 days, $2,900 stayed for three years on conditions of probation, serve 30 days jail, pay $100 fine plus surcharges, pay $75 public defender co-payment, attend Awareness Panel for Impaired Drivers, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, complete intensive supervision program and follow all recommendations, stay out of establishments where alcohol is primary means of business, serve 60 days on electronic home monitoring, have no same or similar violations. Sentenced by Judge Mottl.

Melissa Faye Jeffington, 34, of Monticello, sentenced on Sept. 30 for Gross Misdemeanor Third Degree DWI to 365 days jail, $300 fine; 365 days stayed for two years on conditions of probation, pay $300 fine plus surcharges, pay restitution, attend Awareness Panel for Impaired Drivers, serve 5 days sentence to service, have no same or similar violations. Sentenced by Judge Halsey. 

Brandon Charles Lenart, 21, of Rockford, sentenced on Sept. 30 for Probation Violations for Gross Misdemeanor Domestic Assault to 10 days jail. Sentenced by Judge Mottl.

David Allen Miller, 35, of Albertville, sentenced on Sept. 30 for Misdemeanor Domestic Assault to 90 days jail, $1,000 fine; 78 days, $850 stayed for two years on conditions of probation, serve 12 days jail, pay $150 fine plus surcharges, remain medically compliant, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, have no use or possession of firearms or dangerous weapons, undergo chemical dependency treatment and follow all recommendations, undergo counseling and follow all recommendations, provide DNA sample, complete an anger management program and follow all recommendations, have no same or similar violations. Sentenced by Judge Mottl. 

Richard Allen Mitchell, 19, of Clearwater, sentenced on Oct. 1 for Gross Misdemeanor Procuring Liquor for a Minor to 365 days jail, $3,000 fine; 335 days, $2,950 stayed for two years on conditions of probation, serve 30 days jail, pay $50 fine plus surcharges, have no contact with victim, undergo chemical dependency treatment and follow all recommendations, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, have no unsupervised contact with persons under age 18 years, have no use or possession of pornography, undergo counseling and follow all recommendations, submit to a polygraph, have no same or similar violations. Sentenced by Judge Mottl.

Michael Alan Munkholm, 29, of Otsego, sentenced on Oct 1 for Gross Misdemeanor Second Degree DWI to 365 days jail, $400 fine; 335 days stayed for three years on conditions of probation, serve 30 days jail, pay $400 fine plus surcharges, attend MADD Panel, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, attend a support group, serve 60 days on electronic home monitoring, have no same or similar violations. Sentenced by Judge Halsey.

Melissa Dawn Neuerberg, 30, of Otsego, sentenced Oct. 2 for Misdemeanor Fourth Degree DWI to 90 days jail, $1,000 fine; 88 days, $900 stayed for two years on conditions of probation, serve 2 days jail, pay $100 fine plus surcharges, pay $75 public defender co-payment, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, complete a Level II driving program and follow all recommendations, attend MADD Panel, serve 28 days on electronic home monitoring, have no same or similar violations. Sentenced by Judge Mottl.

Brandon Jerome Olson, 20, of Buffalo, sentenced on Oct. 2 for Felony Controlled Substance Crime in the Fifth Degree to a stay of imposition for five years on conditions of probation, serve 60 days jail, pay $300 fine plus surcharges, pay $75 public defender co-payment, undergo a chemical dependency evaluation and follow all recommendations, obtain permission before leaving the state, have no use or possession of firearms or dangerous weapons, have no use or possession of controlled substances, have no same or similar violations. Sentenced by Judge Halsey.

Travis Paul Christ Padgett, 25, of Monticello, sentenced Oct 2 for Felony Theft to a stay of imposition for five years on conditions of probation, serve 182 days jail, pay $250 fine plus surcharges, pay restitution, undergo a chemical dependency evaluation and follow all recommendations, complete cognitive behavior program, provide DNA sample, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, have no use or possession of firearms or dangerous weapons, pay restitution, have no same or similar violations. Sentenced by Judge Mottl.

Zachary Forrest Riedberger, 24, of Rockford, sentenced Sept. 30 for Felony Assault in the First Degree to a stay of imposition for twenty years on conditions of probation, serve 60 days jail, pay $300 fine plus surcharges, obtain permission before leaving the state, undergo a chemical dependency assessment and follow all recommendations, apologize to victim, complete batterer's intervention program and follow all recommendations, complete an anger management class, provide DNA sample, have no use or possession of firearms or dangerous weapons, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, have no same or similar violations. Sentenced by Judge Mottl.

James Robert Roeschlein, 72, of Monticello, sentenced Sept. 30 for Gross Misdemeanor Third Degree DWI to 365 days jail, $500 fine; 363 days stayed for two years on conditions of probation, serve 2 days jail, pay $500 fine plus surcharges, serve 28 days on electronic home monitoring, attend Awareness Panel for Impaired Drivers, complete a Level II driving program, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, have no same or similar violations. Sentenced by Judge Halsey.

Tyler Gene Schablin, 24, of Delano, sentenced Sept. 27 for Gross Misdemeanor Giving a Peace Officer False Information to 365 days jail; 365 days stayed for one year on conditions of no same or similar violations. Sentenced by Judge Davis.

Steven Bradley Warren, 63, of Monticello, sentenced on 09/30/13 for Gross Misdemeanor Third Degree DWI to 365 days jail, $3,000 fine; 362 days, $2,500 stayed for two years on conditions of probation, serve 3 days jail, pay $500 fine plus surcharges, complete a chemical education class, attend Awareness Panel for Impaired Drivers, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, have no same or similar violations. Sentenced by Judge Halsey.

Brett Michael Wehr, 24, of Delano, sentenced Oct 2 for Probation Violations for Felony Theft to 30 days jail. Sentenced by Judge Halsey.

Justin David Zelenak, 22, of Monticello, sentenced Oct. 2 for Gross Misdemeanor Theft to 365 days jail, $3,000 fine; 275 days, $2,850 stayed for two years on conditions of probation, serve 90 days jail, pay $150 fine plus surcharges, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, pay restitution, have no same or similar violations. Sentenced by Judge Mottl.
