Albertville City Revamps Website

The city of Albertville unveiled their new website Friday afternoon.

The city of Albertville has had website redesign plans for some time. In August, the City Council hired SM Website solutions to redesign the city website in three phases:

Phase I includes web and navigation design and the creation of most essential service pages needed by the public.

Phase II includes development of additional pages for each department and content management. The majority of the site will be completed during this phase.

Phase III focuses on staff training and the creation of online forms that can be completed by the user and returned immediately.

The "go live" date has been much anticipated by staff as they worked through the early stages of the website’s development.  At this time, the website is complete with Phase I and in the middle of Phase II, so residents should be aware much more information is still to come.

The goal of the new website is to deliver an intuitive, quick way for residents to find information and conduct business.

The address will remain the same and residents are encouraged to check it out: www.ci.albertville.mn.us
