Albertville Council Makes 2012 Committee Appointments

Highlighting the Monday night agenda at was the annual committee appointments. At the start of each year, the mayor reviews and discusses the appointments with the council via a reorganizational meeting.

The purpose of the appointments is so that committees have council involvement and input. Many of the committees also have members of the community serving on them as well.

The following are the 2012 Albertville committee appointments:

Fire Department/Public Safety: Larry Sorenson and Jillian (Schommer) Hendrickson

FYCC: Jillian Hendrickson

Joint Powers Water Board: Mark Meehan and John Vetsch

Library: Mark Meehan

Parks & Recreation: Jillian Hendrickson and Larry Sorenson

Personnel: Mark Meehan and John Vetsch

Planning Commision: Dan Wagner

Public Works: Larry Sorenson and John Vetsch

STMA Ice Arena Board: Dan Wagner and Larry Sorenson
