The and Hanover are partnering with Wright County to construct a trail along the south side of Wright County Highway 34 from County Highway 19 to Beebe Lake Regional Park.
The public is invited to attend an open house meeting to learn more about this project and to offer comment from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday, April 21 at Hanover City Hall, 11250 5th St. NE in Hanover.
The meeting will begin with a project overview which will include a visual presentation of what the trail will look like along the corridor. Following the presentation will be a question and answer session where specifics on the project may be discussed.
The proposed trail is a blacktop trail off the south side of the highway, connecting to the existing trail along the east side of County Highway 19. Construction is planned in 2013, using funding received from the Minnesota DNR and other state and federal sources.
Residents with questions or comments that can't attend Saturday's open house can email City Engineer Steve Bot or call 763-416-7931.
