Jillian Hendrickson Wins Albertville Mayor Seat
With a margin of only 335 votes, Jillian Hendrickson defeated former mayor Don Peterson for the Albertville mayoral seat.
As the Albertville election results come in, Jillian Hendrickson has been declared the winner and mayor elect for the city of Albertville. She received 1698 votes and her opponent, former mayor Don Peterson received 1363 votes.
Hendrickon began her four year term on council in 2011.
Hendrickson thanked her friends and family for their support on her election Facebook page immediately after getting the results from Albertville city clerk tonight.

Early reports of the Albertville city council race are that incumbent John Vetsch received the most votes with a total of 1227 votes. Close behind Vetsch was incumbent Mark Barthel with 1118 and Larry Sorenson with 1117. Due to the close race, Albertville election judges will be doing a recount over the next several days. Patch will report those results as soon as they are available.
